I am also interested in the ancestry of George Haslem and Prudence Westcott of Hancock County, Maine, and have been working on them for about 30 years. In addition to son George they had at least daughter Mary who married John Tinker and lived in Ellsworth and had a large family. My line from them is John, Ferdinand, Ferdinand, Fred V., Frederick J., Paul M.

I have some ancestral lines for Prudence Westcott, though they are not well documented. For George Haslem I have nothing, but have become inclined to think that he came to Maine directly from England or elsewhere. I'd be glad to share what I do have.

This particular family is a major project for me during 2001. I have ready access to the large genealogical holdings at the Family History Library here in Salt Lake City. Let me know how we can collaborate on this effort.
