I am looking for the parents and siblings of William Haslam
born 1798,Bolton,Lancashire,England.William was a weaver and at aged 17 he joined the Army. William attested for unlimited service 29 April 1815. He embarked on the ship "Europe" 2 November 1815 arriving in India 1816.
William married his first wife Margaret Scoller who died October 1832. He married his second wife, a widow Elizabeth Roggie 2 July 1834. They had 5 children, the second, Edward Haslam is my husbands direct ancestor.
William Haslam died 1850 in India.
If anyone can link William to their family this would be great.
