Seeking any descendants from the abovementioned place.
To date we (Caro & Andrew) have pieced together a few details which I will outline below. If anyone out there has any further information to add to this tree please contact us. We are very interested in pursuing the ancestry through Ireland.
Parents:
Thomas Hardy & Ann Jackson (aka Marianne or Annie) both deceased pre-1859 more than likely in Templemore. Last possible address Jail (Gaol) St, Templemore.
Children:
Francis (Frank) John Hardy - born c1830, Tipperary. Married Eliza Davis 7/6/1852, Templemore, Tipperary, Ireland.
Samuel Jackson Hardy - born c1834, Tipperary. Married Charlotte Tamar Haslam in 1858, Camden, NSW, Australia. Samuel died 1900, Granville, NSW, Australia & Charlotte died 1890, Woollahra, NSW, Australia. No children found to date.
George Hardy - born c1836, Ireland. Married Amelia Edmunds 1862, Moruya, NSW, Australia. Died 1868, Bodalla, NSW, Australia.
Thomas Hardy - born c1840, Templemore, Tipperary, Ireland. Married Mary A Carney (?) aka Kearney(?) on 11/11/1863, Beechworth, Victoria, Australia. No further details.
John Hardy - born c1843, Templemore, Tipperary, Ireland. Married Annie Maitland in 1870, Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia. Annie died 1900, Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia. Thomas died 1910, Bulllumwaal, Victoria, Australia.
Mary Ann Hardy - born c1844, Templemore, Tipperary, Ireland. Married Charles Jennings 1860, Beechworth, Victoria, Australia. Married Henry Gladding 1865, Otahuhu, Auckland, New Zealand. Married Charles Edward Percen in 1891 in Auckland, New Zealand. Charles Jennings died 1924 in Grafton, NSW, Australia. Henry Gladding died 1882, in Papatoetoe, Auckland, NZ. Charles Percen died 1915 in Otahuhu, Auckland, NZ. Mary Ann died 1930, Auckland, New Zealand.
William Hardy - born c1845, Tipperary, Ireland. Died 1866, Darlinghurst, NSW, Australia.
We are not certain if this Hardy line has originated solely from Ireland.
