I would love to know more about John Robert Haslam, who from what I know, was the first Haslam of this line to come to America. They settled in Utah. He was married to Margaret Howarth in England, but they immigrated shortly thereafter. I would love to know when they arrived, where exactly was the port, and when they crossed the Plains with the Pioneers to Utah. This is my husband's family, and he is decided through John Robert Haslam by-way of Brigham Haslam. My husband is the 4th generation from Brigham. Does anyone have anymore info about John Robert's children?
I do have considerable information concerning Robert Howarth Haslam, thanks to www.theHaslams.org, but I would love to have the information about the other siblings, if anyone has it.
Also, does anyone have any further information about John R.'s parents, Robert Haslam and Mary Nuttal? I know they were born in England, but if anyone has any parental info for Robert, I could really use it. Thanks!!! :)
P.S. My husband always says that all the Haslams in Utah are related somehow. Is this true? Are all the Haslams from this John Robert Haslam? Does anyone know of any other Haslams that immigrated from England during the same time? Thanks again!
