My daughter-in-law (and my grandson) are direct descendants of William James Haslam, son of Peter Haslam and Judy Curry. They descend from William's son, Don Alonzo Haslam, and his wife, Julia A. Stewart. We are seeking more information on the parents of Julia A. Stewart. It is our understanding that she is of Scottish descent and was born in Hemingsford, Quebec, Canada in Sep 1836. Eventually, she married William James Haslam in Canada in abt 1850. Do you have any information on the parents of Julia A. Stewart who apparently emigrated to Canada from Scotland prior to 1836. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
