WOW, this is one mixed up family.
Taking it from the top... here's what I have. Can you make corrections, according
to your files, and send it back to me?
According to VA Genealogies, regards early generations of VA families....
Creed Haskins m. Unknown
Sons: Edward and Thomas
Edward m Martha Tanner Oct 1688 in Henrico Co. VA
Children: Edward, Creed, Robert, Aaron, and Sarah
Son-Edward m. Jane Lockett and had Thomas, Benjamine, Christopher, poss.
Aaron, Martha, Jane.
(Same son Edward also may have married Martha Finney 26 Jun 1766 in Amelia Co.,and had following children: Mary Page, Creed, John, Aaron, Martha, Robert. Obviously, some of these children may be from previous marriage, as the names repeat. Also, do I have the right Edward here, for m. to Finney?)
To continue with Edward Haskins and Martha Tanner's children...
Creed, son of Edward Haskins and Martha Tanner also married Unknown and
hadfollowing: Edward, Creed, and poss. Thomas H. Haskins.
The son Robert, son of Edward & Martha Tanner. I have nothing further than
that he might have been the Haskins, son of Col, Creed of Chesterfield Co.
He seems to have died and a Thomas Haskins of the same county will sell his
tract near Bebil's Bridge. He also was witness for Thomas Lockett of the Co.
of Cumberland.
Aaron, son of Edward Haskins and Martha Tanner, m. Mary Goode. Children
were Col. Robert, Creed, Joseph, John, Jane, and poss. Aaron. This family was
from Chesterfield or Henrico. Co., VA. They married 1730 in Henrico.
The daughter Sarah, dau. of Edward Haskins and Martha Tanner, married
some named Page. Nothing more on her.
I'll stop here and pick up when I get your response from this first part.
THANKS.
