I looking for information on Philena (or Philenia) E. Swinyer (or Swinger) and family. Philena was born about 1822 in Vermont, but her father was born in Canada according to Census Records. Philena m. Samuel Haskins (b. 12 May 1817; d. 15 May 1898, Huntington, VT). Philena and Samuel had 5 children: Frank L., Jane, Lucy, Etta, and Mona. Until recently I had no leads toward a spelling of Swinyer, or, on one board, Chouinard. I'm hoping someone can help me open up the door to my g-g-g-grandparents.
