Information is sketchy at best on my 3rd great grand aunt Magdalene Haskin-Weatherhead. My information is that she was born about 1768, the first daughter and second child of Abial Haskin and Judah Carey. (Abial and Judah had eleven children, all of who appear to have lived to adulthood).

Magdalene married Samuel Weatherhead on March 15th, 1787 and had seven children (Margaret 1789, John 1790, Eleanor 1793, Lydia 1795, James 1797, William 1799 and Alexander 1802).

I have yet to find confirmation of the fact, but I assume Magdalene is buried with Samuel in the Blue Church Cemetery, near Brockville. In the History of New Oswegatchie by Edwin A. Livingston, (page 126) it states “Although no gravestone exists for the U.E.L. pioneer, Rev. Robert Blakey records his burial on December 11, 1823 in the Blue Church Cemetery”.

Sorry I wasn’t more help.
