There were many Creed T. Haskins in Virginia at the time you mentioned. There were about three in the Brunswick and Mecklenburg County, Virginia areas. One of these Creed's married Ann Meade, daughter of Richard Kidder Meade in January of 1818.They had two children:Julia Maria Haskins and Richard Edward Haskins. This Creed was named after an uncle, Creed T. Haskins, but I am almost postive that his uncle did not leave issue. If I am not mistaken, this is the same Creed Haskins thatis credited with the "invention" of Brunswick Stew. The story says that Uncle Jimmy was Creed's cook that went with him on hunting trips. When they killed squirrels, Jimmy would use Creed's recipe for the stew. However, Jimmy tried to market it and Creed sought legal action.
This Creed may be too old to be the one you are looking for. However, another Creed I know of was not born until 1799 and married Prudence Russell Jeffries on July 31, 1828.
