My knowledge of our family has increased cosiderably since that message was posted. I now have a certified copy of marriage certificate of Charles and Mary Ann who wed in Shaftesbury, Dorset. A witness was Emily Lindley Haskew, headmistress of The Sambourne Ladies Boarding School or simply, Miss Haskew's School, in Warminster from 1842- 1872. She died in 1876 on the Isle of Wight.
I also have more information about Thomas William Spencer's parents...his paternal grandfather was John B Whitehead, Blank Tray Manufacturer employing up to 20 men in Bilston, Staffordshire.
