Hello- my name is Donald Leonard haskell oakes- my grandmother was ruth avery haskell(oakes) she was the onlt daughter of Sidney F haskell of West. Glous- My father, leonard- passed away 3 yrs ago and left in my care- 2 boxes- one 1820- the other s civil war writing desk filled with hand writen doucuments of my family- Haskell- back to The first William- i have a hand written letter from the 3 brothers back to England- from the 1600- i have all the familys genealogy hand written- by the actual persons- this is a complete family history- I had the task of putting in my fathers death- anyone want any info- please let me know- i live in kennebunk me- the 1740s haskell/herrick tavern as its called in W.Glous. was sold last year and i tried to by it back- this is the second time a non family member has owned the family homestead- i have pics- school info- deaths- marriges- taxes- final wills- its awesome- and all written in the day-
