Harriet:

Interesting post. I know I'm a bit slow but I've been putting together my own Haskamp family research here in Central Missouri. I have Haskamp's, Himmelberg's and Monnig's mostly but all total 3100+ individuals.

Out of all of them...I have the following:

Maria Auguste Borgerding
b. March 7, 1890 Vechta, Germany
d. March 19, 1972 Vechta, Germany

Married

Wilhelm Haskamp
b. May 13, 1887 Vechta, Germany
d. ?

Maria's parents:
Joseph Wilhelm Borgerding
Maria Anna Fortmann

Any help...any connection?

I've never been able to connect the mid-Missouri Haskamp's, the Minnesota Haskamp's and the Ohio Haskamp's. Still a puzzle.

Anything you can pass along would be greatly appreciated. If you'd like to get a copy of my database just let me know. I'd be happy to pass it along.
