I have an original postcard photograph of “Fanny (Harwood) Hostetter”, which I would like to get back to family members. Photo was taken in about 1905, in Bay Shore (Suffolk Co.) NY, and she looks to be about age 30.
I found a Fannie Harwood in the Islip (Suffolk Co.) NY census of 1900, daughter of James and Jane. Her DOB was Aug 1876, she was age 23, and she had a brother Thomas. By 1920 census, she was Fannie Hostetter, still in Islip, NY. She and her husband LeRoy Hostetter lived with her father, James Harwood, age 72, a widow born Ireland. In 1920, Fannie was age 42, and LeRoy was age 41.
