Harville Family Genealogy Forum

Ann,
After I posted, I went back and looked at Isham Harville Jr. He married for a third time in 1848 in Tishomingo Co., Mississippi, and I have undocumented information that he died there. What I had forgotten was my geography. Hardin Co., TN, is on the other side of the state line from Tishomingo. So maybe Isham Jr. was buried in Hardin Co. after all. However, there is another possibility. If I remember correctly, when the Tennessee River was dammed in the 1930's for flood control, part of that MS/TN border area was flooded to create Pickwick Lake. It is possible that Isham Jr.'s original burial place was flooded in that process and the marker was put in Graham Cemetery because there was no place else to put it.
This isn't really my line either, but maybe our exchange will help someone else.
