Ann,
Got the death certificate.
Douglas Arizona Harvill was born Aug. 25, 1906 in Texas. Died Jan 25, 1999 in Santa Fe, NM. but was buried in Houston. Tx. - I talked to some one and got this info. After Douglas and My grandma divorced in Wichita Fall, Douglas went back to Galveston, Tx.- his family was around Galveston and Houston. It is believed he married a Wood or Woods but only short time. He went to OK. for two or three years then came back to Galveston for a while, working on a shrimpboat. Later moved to NM.
They are pretty sure his father's name was Henry Harwell and they know his mother's name was Margaret Malloy.
So I've been looking in the wrong part of Texas. What records do you have for this family in Galveston and Houston?
