The Isham that you are speaking of is buried in Grahams Chapel Cemetery, on hwy 69, S.E. out of Savannah. In the far S.E. area of the cemetery is the ROSS family plot. There is a large upright stone that has ROSS enscribed. Isham's marker can be found a short distance to the north from there. There is a military marker for him as well as Isom Harrell, both plaques on a flat marble base.

Near Ishams marker is Sarah Glidewell 1831-1899, Mary A. & J.A., son Homer - Harvile. The latter two stones are upright, made from grey granite.

My grandparents lived and played in that area as children.
Grandmother was from Nixon, my Grandfather, around Savannah.
My father was born in the Savannah area, lived with his family in Olive Hill. We have Arnolds family in Jowers Cem.

I go to TN about every other year, currently live in Okla City. My dad is 91, has 4 other siblings here as well.

My GGrandfather is James W., also in Grahams, father was Robert and he was one of Ishams children.

I have photos of all of the headstones mentioned, and am trying to learn to scan them to an appropiate size.

Good luck!

Kim HARVILLE-Rogers
