Following is a summary of what I have found for these seven sons of Ira H Harvey - All born in Barnet, Caledonia Co., VT :

*Darius* b. 19 Dec 1801 d. between 1870/1880; sons George O & Milo R

*Olin* b. 31 Mar 1804 d. 01 Oct 1830; no family noted

*Alden* b. 6 Sep 1805 d. 18 Nov 1845, IL ; sons Fletcher C & Curtis W

*Alfred* b. 17 Jan 1811 d. 18 Nov 1845, NY?: son Alfred C

*Lyman K* b. 21 Mar 1813 d. 10 Nov 1887, VT; sons Henry C, Olin K,
Chas E, Curtis C

*Curtis K* b. 20 Apr 1814 d. 24 Jun 1848, KY?; son Curtis K

*Ortas Gusters* b. 25 Jun 1817 d. 19 Feb 1880, VT; son Ira Taylor

The purpose of this message is to invite any/all other living direct line male descendants of Ira Harvey to join our Harvey Y-DNA group with a Y-DNA test of their own and thereby further strengthen their paper trail research efforts.
