Thank you for your extensive report on Esther Harvell of Manchester, NH.I am a descendant of Esther, and her husband, Peter Emerson.Their daughter, Esther Harvell (also recorded as "Harvey" in some places) Emerson married Joseph Noyes, Jr., of Weare, NH, son of Joseph Noyes, Sr., and wife, Ruth Peaslee. Soon after their marriage, which took place in Goffstown, NH, Esther and Joseph Noyes moved to East Pond Settlement, Hancock Co. (now Penobscot Co.), Maine. This is a forested area between Patten, Maine and Baxter Park. They had five children, four of them born in Maine: Esther, Almira, Joseph, and John, and the fifth born in Pennsylvania, probably as they traveled from Maine to Ohio in 1816 or 1817. They settled in Guernsey Co., Ohio, at first, and Esther died about 1817.Her death date and burial place are unknown. Joseph married twice more, and had a total of 15 children, many of whom survived to adulthood, married, and had children. I am a descendant of the son, John Noyes.
I have many records on this family and will be happy to reply to any queries about them. Virginia Turner
