This is the second message I found from you, and your info in this message matches my family! I also have a Jacob Hartz, and in the 1900 census, he is listed as having a wife, Matilda. They are listed as having 12 children, but only 6 survived. They were in North Dakota, and some of their children were born there. Some of the family lived in Haultain, Saskatchewan, Canada. Philip Hartz lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. My grandmother's father's name was Ernest Hartz. Are we related??

My grandmother was a Hartz, and she married Adam Pydee.
