I in fact did talk to martin, have been in contact for over two years now, we have been checking out our similarity’s to see if we share traits. He likes ale, I like ale, and he reads books about ancient history and so do I. He likes sports, even plays a little I think. All the Harty’s that I have meet on-line have college educations, I do not think my Da, if he had lived would have liked that, he thought if you were well educated, well he was a teamster.
Martin Harty, who lives in England, Oldham is a children’s medical doctor or a RN, I am not sure, his wife is a teacher, his Da fought in the British Navy in WWII, like my Da did, but he was born in Waterford, or near about. I am planning a trip, a pilgrimage really to Ireland, England and Crete next summer and want to meet as many Harty’s as I can. I plan on doing that at Harty's Pub in Tralee on the west coast, return a reply if you want to jump in this trip, I am going alone as my better half will not travel by air or sea.
