I got back from Ireland last month and while there, I went to the library in Dublin and looked up Harty's in Waterford county. The names I found were Augustine (my Great, Great Grandfather), Jeremiah, Catherine, John and James.
I also found numerous Harty's in the phone books for Waterford, Cork, Galway and Tipperary counties. Does anyone have a clue how to start looking to see if any of them are related? My Mother was Elizabeth Harty, daughter of Michael Harty who was the son of James Harty and Margaret London.
