I have a Michael HARTY who married Mary GRACE. According to family lore they were both from County Cork, Ireland. Their children were: Bridget, Timothy, Jack, James, Catherine (Kate), Mae, Sarah, and Patrick Henry (born 4-4-1864). Bridget, at least, was born in Ontario, CA . The family relocated to Black Creek, WI.

This Michael HARTY had children named Bridget and John; possibly named after Mary GRACE HARTY's parents? Then again, they're not rare names for an Irish family.

However, a Michael HARTY who married a MARY GRACE and immigrated to Ontario from Ireland at about that time... odds look good.

Let me know how well this coincides with what you have on the HARTY line.

Thanks.
