I wrote to the sacristan of St. John's Parish, Castle Street, Tralee, Kerry about my grandfather and his siblings. I gave her some wrong and approximate information. She sent me 5 baptisimal certificates after searching from 1860 to 1872 at least and probably further to not find the marraige record. I will put up what I have found out if it will help others and maybe they have more info. I was overjoyed at finding out so much more than I asked for. Bridget Harty was unknown to my family and I know nothing about what happened to her. Parents of all Five=James Harty- Laborer- Rock Street , Tralee and Jane Leary. James Harty Sr.is supposed to have died from a horse racing accident before they came to the US. My grandfather is James Harty. He Married Margarey Gately in 1892 and they had 13 children. My father Edward Harty was the 12th child. I will share anything needed with anyone who finds this useful and is researching the same lines. Micheal Harty left the family and got married in New York. There has been no contact with that branch of the family that was probably in the Bronx or Queens from 1880 to the 1940's. Any of Micheal's Don Harty
