There is a similarity in some of our Hartwigs' names. My great grandfather was Fred Chris (Fritz). His son was Fred William and a daughter, Emma. Also my aunt's (Fred Chris' granddaughter) name is Helen. Seems also there is an Albert somewhere too. I know these can sometimes be common names but so many of them appear in both families. Somewhere along the way I was told that Fred Chris' (Fritz) father's name was John. Talk about common names!!! I have been researching this family for about 10 years and really don't seem to get very far. Keep in touch. I hope your older family members may have a puzzle piece. Thank you.
