My gg grandmother was Elizabeth Hartwick born abt 1834 in Princeton Twnshp, Mercer Co NJ. I believe her parents were both born in NJ and that her mother's name was Hannah. I also believe her father died before 1850. Elizabeth married twice; first to Samuel Robbins 18 Jan 1854 possibly in Jerveyville ILL. Secondly to Samuel King. After the second marriage Hannah moved to Linn Co MO and then to Fontana KS where Sam King and Elizabeth are buried. Hannah's brothers and sisters were Sarah b abt 1828 NJ; Alfred Woodhull Hartwick b abt 1829 NJ; Embly O "E.O." Hartwick b abt 1830 NJ; John b abt 1832 NJ; Hannah b 1835 NJ; William H abt 1838 NJ; Matthias abt 1840 NJ; Harriett "Hattie" abt 1843 NJ.
1910 census E.O. and wife Mary were in Jerseyville ILL;
1850 census John Hartwick lived with a "Hughes" family next door to Elijah Robbins Family & Sarah Hartwick; 1880 census Hannah Hartwick age 77 lived with daughter Hattie and husband William Nutt in ILL.
