I'm able to help you. I found your father on the 1930 census in the household of his parents. His father is Leonard Bedford and mother is Rena. The 1930 census has your father as 1 year and 7 months and a brother named L. Bedford Jr. age 9 months. L. Bedford winford's father is listed 39 years old and Rena is 26. Leonard Bedford Hartwick is the son of Malden Hartwick and Rachel McDaniel. Malden is the son of Leonard Hartwick and Rebecca maiden name unknown. This Leonard is the son of Leonard Hartwick and wife Delila maiden name unknown but has been said Cagle but I'm not sure of that. This Leonard is the son of Coonrod Hartwick and wife Susanna Cagle.
L.Bedford Hartwick in 1930 is listed in Gum Woods Township in Lonoke County and on the same page and two households down is an Ira Petit that seems to be Rena brother. They both list their father born in ALabama. Just a name ot two below Ira Petit is a W.Chester Hartwick age 25 with his mother Rachel age 73 and widowed and also in his household is sister Rittie age 31. This Rittie could either be Nancy or Martha. Ibelieve they were twins.
