Darren: Please contact me if you are still working on the above. I have a letter dated 1837 stating that Leonard and Fredrick Hartwick, were in Tennessee, and one of them had a grist mill on saw creek. I am trying to connect my Ward family to the Hartwick's, as I feel my GG GM Mary might have been a Hartwick. A lot of my Ward's ( N. C. to Tennessee) ended up in Van Buren County, Arkansas in the late 1860's moving from Hardin County, Tennessee. Thanks
