Hi...I too am a Hartwick from Ontario...in fact Jackson's Point Ontario...about 1 hour north of Toronto on Lake Simcoe...my fathers name was James and his fathers name was Arthur...I know that my grandfathers family lived in Toronto...My grandfather was married to Violet Shakespeare and my fathers siblings were Kay, William and George...I too would be interested in finding out more of the family line...I just happened to stumble across this site earlier and figured it was worth a shot...in the mean time I will investigate further on names of great grandparents and such...thanks for any help and sure is nice to know there are a lot of us out there.
