Are you still seeking information about the Hartwell-Robinson (mar 1787 Lincoln Co, NC). I am interested in communicating with you about the Hartwell-Robinson connection as I am trying to find the parents of James Madison Robinson b. 1811 in Chester District (county) SC. While I do not have proof, this may be my "brick wall" as there are many family members named Hartwell (either first or middle name)Robinson. J M Robinson's second son was named Hartwell Spain Robinson. It has been related to me that JM Robinson's father was "Red" (Jim) Robinson and his mother was named Hartwell. Since parts of NC and SC sare common county boundries, I am speculating that Hartwell-Robinson marriage could be the parents of J M Robinson of District Co, SC. f you or anyone has additional information about the family, please contact me.
