He was born in Nissmitz, Sachsen, and was married to Maria Dorothea BLANKE (1744-1777) born in Uicheritz, Sachsen. They had two children Johann Friedrich HARTUNG and Johann Gottfried HARTUNG, and both sons married. Does anyone have information regarding this HARTUNG family, and perhaps know the parents of the parents?
