I am searching for the parents of Andrew Jackson Harting. He was born Dec 29, 1856/57 in Madison County, Indiana d. Aug 5, 1912 in Elwood, Madison County, Indiana. He married Margaret Jane Gobel b. Dec12, 1860 Danville, Indiana and d. Sept 10, 1935 Indiana.

They had the following children:

1. Alfred Jenning b 12-6-1896 Madison County, Indiana d. 1954

2. Joseph Andrew b June 28-1880 Indiana d 2-24-1944

3. Mary Elizabeth b. 3-20-1888 Elwood, Madison County, Indiana d. 9-19-1962

4. Grace b 5-29-1892 d 4-12-2002 Elwood, Indiana

5. Gladys Alice b 2-17-1900 Elwood, Indiana d 11-17-1964

6. Charles S. b. abt 1889 died 2-21-1938 Elwood, Indiana

7.Irene Esther b . 4-7-1894

The 1880 census shows that Andrew Jackson was born in 1857 and other records show that he was born in 1856. Any help would be appreciated. I have marriages for the children as well.
