Oh, I am really confused. I have a copy of a story written by the grandson of William Hartsook, as he dictated it. This William is the son of Peter and Ann (Wooten/Woten) Hartsook and the grandson of William Hartsook who came over from Holland with six brothers. These six brothers settled first in PA and then in MD. I think this is a pretty reliable documentation of this branch of the family. In the story he mentions going to Aunt Sarah McCarley's for dinner. This Sarah Hartsook McCarley is my 3rd greatgrandmother. So, Sarah and Peter are brother and sister. That would mean that their father was William Hartsook from Holland, not Henry. What do you think?
