I am trying to find information on William H, Hartsock in order to trace the family of Mary Josephene (Mary Jo) Preston who married William Freeman Botkin in Licking County in 1884.
Mary Jo is listed as William's step-daughter in the 1880 census. She may be his natural daughter according to leads from other records which confuse the issue.
William married to Hester, Mary, and Mollie according to census records.
