Hi Charles- Pellatiah's Mother and Father were Henry McElroy and wife Pellatiah ? Henry born @1755 in Johnston Co. North Carolina and he died in 1809 at age 54. Pellatiah was born @1760 in N. Carolina and she died after 1821 at age 61 in Madison Co. Georgia.
Pellatiah, their daughter was born 1802 Elbert Co. Ga. Died October 20, 1868 in Jackson co. Florida. Married to William Hartsfield Feb 4 1819 Elbert Co. Ga. William was born Jan 15, 1799,(son of Richard Hartsfield and Anna Temple McElroy).
They are in Florida records by 1853. Pellatiah's obituary is recorded there 1869. Children:
1. Charles A. Hartsfield- married to Franson ? or Frances?
2. Frances- nothing more known.
I only have two children recorded for them. You may be able to go on familysearch.com for Florida and find out more on them.
Henry McElroy's Father and Mother are John McElroy and wife Rebecca ?
The McElroy name is spelled Muckleroy, Muckelduroy, McIlroy, McLeroy and so on. David Muckleroy put together a huge book on contributions from many people on the McElroy's and Hartsfields. If I can help you further, let me know. Lucy
