The will of Andrew Hartsfield of Wake County, North Carolina (signed 20 December 1822, probated May term 1823, Book T, page 123) mentions several children including Rachel, wife of John Muse. My ancestor, William Hartsfield, is the first heir mentioned in the will and was bequeathed land on Powells Creek in Bedford County, Tennessee.
