Eric, thanks for posting the Bible information!
Sarah Allen Hartsfield, youngest daughter of James Hartsfield and Nancy Olive, was my great-grandmother. My grandfather was her youngest son, Jesse Wilson Hancock.
While Sarah had passed away long before my mother was born, my 96-year-old aunt, who just passed away in October, remembered and wrote about going to her grandma's house to play while her father and his brothers (Sarah's sons) made syrup. As you probably know, Sarah was the second wife of John Wilson Hancock.
