I suppose it is possible. James Hartsfield (born 1762?, apparently the son of Andrew Hartsfield, I) owned property abutting Thomas Smith on Crabtree Creek. Sihon Smith was the bondsman for the marriage license of James Hartsfield and Martha Norris, 25 January 1783. I suppose it is even possible that James Hartsfield was raised by Mary as she would have been about 22 years old at the time Andrew died and James was born. James Hartsfield apparently had a son, Sihon Hartsfield, by his second wife, Kezia Justice.
Did Thomas and/or Sihon Smith leave a will?
