I'm looking for more information on this family. What I know is the Enoch moved into Monroe county with his adult children from his first marriage. It's likely they moved into the area around 1890, or so. He had at least three sons, two of whom I know their names, Leander, and Oscar also called "Boss." These were the children from his marriage to Abigail Goings. Enoch later married Vergie Walker and had at least one son. Ralph Leonard "Cobb" Hartsfield was born 1 Dec, 1903 and d.21 Feb, 1981. Cobb married Annie Kornegay b. 21 Sep 1909, d. 19 Jul, 1995. I am descended from Leander Hartsfield. Leander married Mattie Welch. I know they had at least three sons: Ellis "Shorty" Hartsfield, Horace Hartsfield b. 1920, and "Pete" Hartsfield. Shorty married Katherine Cooper, and my grandfather, Horace married Vera Estelline Tackett. Additionally, I know that Mattie had a sister who married one of Leander's brothers. There was at least one daughter from that marriage, Mary.
