Hello John,
There are two other children listed for Parrot Hartsell (Sr) and Malinda Catherine White. You mentioned George and America Jane; there also was James Hartsell b. ca 1858 and Parrot Hartsell, Jr. b. ca 1862. These other two children's names were listed in Eunice L. H. Sechler's book "A Hartsell-Hirtzel History and Genealogy of Four Hundred Twelve Years." Eunice states that the widow Malinda and their chilren were listed last in Itawamba Co. census in 1870 and no other information was found on this family. Possibly knowing the two other children may be helpful if someone is researching through them. Sandy, North Carolina
