Alicia,is that all the info you have? I am also researching this surname - you can see my post about six before yours. I have been researching numerous families for a while and my suggestion is to be as informative as you can. Offer up names of related families, unusual christian names, religious affiliation, place of origin in Ireland if you know it, farm or house names that suggest a place in Ireland. My Australian emigrant ancestor John was one of seven brothers and a sister born about the same time as your James, hence my post. I am not suggesting we are related as that would require more information to clarify, but I do appreciate your challenge. Doug
