Hi Hartley Family
I've a John HARTLEY b.1820 baptised St Paul, Blackburn 1828.
On the 1851 Manchester Census, John was in Ancoats married to Mary Ann DEACON. John was an Iron Worker/Mechanic.
John likely left Blackburn c.1840. He lived in Manchester [1851-1871 Censuses] d.1880.
His parents were William and Betty HARTLEY. William would have been b.c.1795, possibly Blackburn but uncertain. He was a Weaver, later a Mechanic.
Does anyone have John and/or his parents on their tree ? Thanks.
Kind regards William
