Hello All,
I am looking for descendants of Samuel & Margaret Rawls Hartley. SAMUEL was a Civil War veteran, born 4 March 1832 in MISSISSIPPI. Died 19 October 1920 in Austin, Texas.
MARGARET ANN RAWLS as born 1848 in ST. MARY Parish, LOUISIANA. She died at age 40 in childbirth. MARGARET was the daughter of ELIJAH B. RAWLS & CAROLINE MARIE JOHNSON.
SAMUEL & MARGARET married 20 DECEMBER 1860 in SAN MARCOS, HAYS CO., TEXAS. MARGARET age 12 SMUEL age 28.
Their children were CAROLINE, VIRGINIA, GEORGIA, ROBERT HILLIARD, HELENA SENTHLIZA, AMIE, SAMUEL HARTLEY.
HELENA SENTHLIZA HARTLEY was born on 5 May 1876 in Dripping Springs, Hays Co., Texas. She married JIM THOMAS CAGLE on 4 May 1892.
