Now that you mention it, I to remember someone speaking of an Uncle Dol. My father ( Josie's son) was the one who drove the car from FL. to CA. Said it was a 26 or 27 Ford. Seems they left Fl. because of the horrible hurricane of 1928. Dad said it took them 3 mos. to make the trip.
