Interesting to see how far and wide the "Hartigan" name has travelled.
The first immigrant to our area was Martin Hartigan. He came from Cashel, Tipperary Ireland. He arrived at the age of 19 years in 1841. He married Bridget Crowe had two sins, Michael,Martin and a daughter, Mary Teresa.
We have the Family Tree of Martin and Mary Teresa but have lost cntact with the descendantsnof Michael who we think married a Catherine Sheehan. I would be vey pleased if anyone knowing of a connection to Michael's family would please contact me. Norma Hartigan.
