Hi, Darline. You got my curiousity up. My Harstads settled in Minnesota. My understanding was that they came from Harstad Island, up in northern Norway. probably came
over around 1870ish. Grandmothers name was Bret and she married Otto Brandslein. Settled around Fergus Falls. Also, a couple of brothers there, Alfred and Albert, twins.
And also some Amundsens, were related to the family. I met them once in the 1930's. that's about it for me. Altho, I have a couple of daughters that live in so. Tacoma. one did live for a while in Parkland. Is there a possibility of a connection here? That would be nice. Thanks, Jimmie Slack
