The Binkley

Harshe Families
The book was done about 1960. It was done by Opal Wilkins and was not an actual book, but a bunch of pages stapeled together. I don't have the actual book, but a copy of it. David Harshe was born on Aug. 11, 1811, the son of James. David Harshe had first been married to Martha Candler. They had four children and it says that Martha died prior to 1850. David married Sophia Baker in 1866 and they had 6 children. Sophia had been married to William Binkley I and he died coming home from Civil War in 1865. I am a great great granddaughter of William and Sophia. Sophia married again to a William Peterson, but was buried with David Harshe's tombstone.
