The graves were moved from St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Hagerstown, Maryland. The remains, what was left, were put in a mass grave. The grave is still unmarked almost hundred years later. For the deceased and the benefit of future researchers I believe a marker for all of
Johann Martin Harry descendants should be placed on a marker. All descendants who were moved from St. Johns including males who married into the family.
There is a headstone place close to the cemetery, the purchase can be made here. On the reverse all who donate funds can have there names engraved or can remain anonymus.
I have never made a headstone purchase before so I have little idea what the cost will be. I'm sure it would be substantial. With 15 to 20 participating the cost should minimal. There are somewhere in the area of 20 or so names with birth and death info to be engrave plus other data.
If I can't get a group to participate I will place one small marker with minimal info.
