Charles Harry was a Revolutionary War soldier whose name appears on the Iowa Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (IASSAR) monument which appears south of the Iowa State Capitol building in Des Moines, Iowa. Charles was born 11 August 1760 in Frederick County, Virginia. He served as a spy on Indian movements under Captain Mabray Evans in Colonel Marshall's Regiment. Charles moved to Iowa in April 1843 and died soon after arrival in Cedar County, Iowa. The IASSAR is seeking all his genealogy/descendants to the present. I can be contacted at: Michael K. Mulford, President IASSAR, mulfordm@pcpartner.net and I thank you for your assistance. Michael Notify Administrator about this message?
