I am looking for any information on James Logan Herrell or Logan James Herrell. The last could have been spelled other ways. He was born 13 Aug 1824 somewhere in Kentucky. He married Lucinda "Lucy" Beaman/Beeman on 31 Dec 1845 in Pettis County Missouri. James Logan died 11 Mar 1895 in Butler, Bates County, MIssouri and was survived by Lucy who was born 14 Dec 1823 Rowan County North Carolina and died 6 Mar 1910 in Butler Missouri. James Logan's parents were Ruben & Rachel (Wolfe) Herrell.
Lucinda's parents were William & Martha "Patsy" (Holeman) Beaman/Beeman.
James and Lucy had the following children:
Ruben b: 9 Dec 1846 - d: 8 Jan 1863
Martha Ann b: 15 Oct 1848 - 17 Jan 1863
Alexander Hamilton b: 27 Nov 1850 - 4 Apr 1931
Mary Francis b: 6 Jan 1853 - d: 14 Feb 1915
Rachel Ann b: 17 Nov 1855 - 27 Apf 1859
Amanda Elizabeth b: 8 Nov 1857 - D: 15 Oct 1859
Lucinda Emmarine b:15 Apr 1860 - d: 8 Oct 1944
Nancy Elvira b: 2 Mar 1862 - d: 18 May 1944
James Logan Jr. b: 11 Aug 1865 - 3 Dec 1932
William Beaman b: 26 Feb 1867 - 31 Oct 1951
All of the above were born in Butler, Bates County, MO. All died in Butler except for Nancy, she died in Ft. Scott, Bourbon County, KS. They are buried in Oakhill Cem. in Butler, MO.
