Searching for ancestors of Catharine HARROLD b. 1784 Westmoreland Co., Pa., wife of John UBER of Westmoreland Co., Pa. They were pioneers of Mercer Co., Pa., moving there about 1798. The family may be allied with the Cribbs family of Westmoreland Co. There is a Catherine Herrold born 1760...daughter of George Christopher Herrold, Jr. and Catherine Pontious. This Catherine was married twice, 1st. to John Cribbs and 2nd. to Jacob Lock. Interestingly enough, Catherine and John UBER had a grandchild named Christopher Cribbs WINDER. Anyone help sorting all of this out would be deeply appreciated. -RSW
